Before first-time use, it is crucial to turn off the solar spot lights and leave them under direct sunlight to charge for 3 days. In winter, cloudy, snowy, and rainy conditions, the solar lights need 5-10 days of direct sunlight charging. This step is essential, as the logistics companies do not allow full charge transportation for safety, and the solar lights are rarely charged when delivered. Sufficient power can provide an extended light show.

To check if the solar lights can function, place them under direct sunlight for 5-10 minutes, then cover the solar panel and press the "Power" button – the light should turn on, even if only for a few minutes or seconds, indicating normal operation. Then, turn it off and charge for 3 days.

The solar lights have undergone 2 years of continuous water spray experiments, ensuring a reliable waterproof effect. Small vents in the bottom help accumulated water/steam flow out within 2-3 sunny days. After outdoor use, if the runtime decreases, check and clean the solar panel regularly.

Ensure there are no obstructions, such as eaves, trees, or glass, where the solar lights are installed, as this can prevent sufficient sunlight exposure and power generation. Do not install the solar spotlights where the panel can get nighttime light exposure, as the daylight sensor will not turn them on.

The solar landscape spotlights' lighting effect depends on sunshine intensity, location, weather, and season. Harsh weather without enough sunlight will reduce the runtime of solar-powered palm tree lights. Colder or cloudier days may require longer charging times.
